Design Presentation
The following section shows my utilisation of Keyshot rendering software and the Affinity Suite to create stylised design boards to be used to convey varying types of information.
Showcase Images
Using techniques such as depth of field and motion blur, the images below utilise these skills to showcase design projects in a way which captures the attention of the audience. Below are examples shown in projects involving the design of an articulating gaming seat, a sustainable pedestal fan and a contemporary food blender.
Human Interface
Human interface with a product is key in conveying how a product is used and its scale. The project examples below show human interaction with an assistive garlic press for people with limited dexterity, a sustainable pedestal fan and a spill resistant camping mug.
In Context
Another useful skill is rendering images to appear within the environment that it would be used. This involves setting up realistic lighting, shadows and reflections on Keyshot. The following project examples are an assistive garlic press for people with limited dexterity, an articulating gaming seat and a sustainable contemporary pedestal fan.
Technical Detail
Using exploded views with annotations is a great way to convey plenty of useful manufacturing information of a product and its parts. The following project examples include an a cordless power drill, a sustainable contemporary pedestal fan and an injection moulded spill resistant camping mug.
